Federal gov data shows that overdoses deaths in the US was 11.4% higher in the first four months of 2020 than the same four months im 2019. #LockdownGovernors, this is on you and it is also on news producers who hype every possible bad Covid data to fuel lockdowns.
As of a few weeks ago, 95,235 deaths in the US were attributed to Covid but the US has this year 122,300 more deaths than the same time last year. Narrative is thar Covid deaths are undercounted by 27K.

No. It means that LOCKDOWNS caused neglect/delay in care and then deaths! Image
This is on you Panic Spreaders.

This is on you lockdown crowd.

This is on you #LockdownGovernors.

This is on you Obama Alumni who package hackery to take Trump out as honest medical analysis. I am looking at you Andy Slavitt and Scott Gottleib.

“About half of Sweden's deaths have been in nursing homes, which prohibit visitors.” - 5/6/20 businessinsider.com/coronavirus-sw…

This is the story around the globe: Governments have denied seniors the love/care of family members.
#BeProudLockdownCrowd and sign a pledge that if you/spouse/grown up child will need hospital/nursing home care down the road after Covid-19, you won’t go visit/won’t welcome any family. You will live by the same lockdown policies that you gave to patients during Covid-19.
If you are not ready for this, you admit that lack of family likely contributes to Covid deaths. I mean, if you have confidence that staff will do everything 100% right and/or if you don’t think that having family matters, I am sure you will forfeit this privilege. Right?

This guy comes across as a larger and larger clueless circus clown by the hour. Like Cuomo, he throws in “data and science” as if saying it makes their decisions question-proof. There is data to go the opposite way that they are going but nobody with media power cares. So ya.
.@GovMurphy @GovPritzker @GavinNewsom Some data & science:

- There are almost no Covid deaths in under age 20.

- If this age spreads it, they can do it now anyway.

- 79% (NY) households don’t even live with children under 18.

- No school/unemployment cause abuse & deaths.
- Goal of flattening the curve was to spread out the cases so that hospitals/doctors can accommodate. So of course if you open up the case count may rise. Are you better prepared now? Who says open like it’s Feb 15? Open with measures such as distancing/smaller crowds only.

1/ I kept tweeting the last few weeks that spreading panic - instead of facts - about Coronavirus in addition to extreme lockdowns, will lead to angst, panic and suicides (and a stressed healthcare system too). The results are incoming, as my next tweets show. But before we start
2/ What defines spreading panic? Example:

A) Saying that 50% of the population will get Coronavirus in a year and that 2% - 3% of them will die. In the US this means 3.3 mill to 4.9 mill deaths in one year. No country/region has anywhere close to both those dark numbers at once.
“Both those dark numbers” as in 50% of the pop infected and also a 2% - 3% Case Fatally Rate (CFR). Italy at this point has 7,500 deaths which is a high CFR of 10% but 99.8% of the country does not have the virus. If a huge portion in Italy does have the virus, then the death

Most people who dismiss now the human cost of an economic meltdown; most of those who don’t see a balance between focus on health and on the economy, are anti-Trumpers. It’s ok. In a week or two they will know many people who are out of work. Let’s see their arrogance then.
For too many people in media, the #OPENAMERICANOW talk is political and/or ignorant of what is happening on the ground. Some are just too dumb to understand that “opening up” does not mean today or no focus on hygiene, gloves, testing etc once we do open.
No one sane says Coronavirus is a joke for younger people. The point is proportion! 72% deaths in NYC as of yesterday are seniors; 2.3% are under age of 45 (none under 18). Hence the lockdown focus needs to be first on seniors; secondary on the rest (to protect them and seniors.)

Drive around local shopping districts. None of the bills in DC are coming close to absorb a fraction of the economic calamity that officials are creating now. Telling people to wash hands, wear gloves/masks and avoid unneeded crowds is the only plausible balance here.
.@KimStrassel I don’t want to hear “if we can save one life then this is all worth it.” Sorry. An economic meltdown will cause suicides and mental destruction to loads of people. We don’t stop the sale of liquor due to DWI. We enforce what we can and done. South Korea didn’t
make anywhere close to the lockdowns that we are seeing now in the US. Do @SpeakerPelosi @senatemajldr think that a few $1K checks will come close to absorb a portion of the economic mess being created now? If they think so they are ignorant. I can’t wait for the first time
