Doklam. ... In June 2017 a military standoff occurred between China and India as China attempted to extend a road on the Doklam plateau southwards near the Doka La pass and Indian troops moved in to prevent the Chinese. India claimed to have acted on behalf of Bhutan, with which
which it has a 'special relationship'.
The incursion that happened in 2017 is verified via satellite images & it's in that very position, Chinese troops now. So, the failed state was agreed yo their place of interest ( That's what we call failure of a state machinery).
Since 5th to 11th of May, 2020, the chinese troops went on their invasion so as to get in to 5 kms of Indian union. Why didn' t lndian state block it? (Again, a state of losers'). After #Doklam unrest in 2017, there were 2 diplomatic summits held between India & China, one at

Working non-stop for about 16 hours daily for the past one month, the temporary sanitary workers hired for the beautification of #Mahabalipuram say they have not been paid even one rupee so far. #ModixijinpingMeet #ModiXiSummit @xpresstn @NewIndianXpress
Some of these workers are daily wage laborers under the Mahatma Gandhi Rural National Employment Guarantee Act. These workers fear, the Mahabalipuram Town Panchayat would compensate them with the meager MGNREGA wage instead of paying them separately.
Unlike the cotton/resin gloves or bigger brooms with brush provided for permanent civic body employees, the temporary workers hired were given low quality polytene gloves & stick brooms.

I must confess I sometimes feel ashamed that till a few years ago I hadn't even heard of the Kailasa temple, majestic and beautiful, cut out of a single cliff. Unique in its size. For some reason it's just called cave no 16 at Ellora complex and never used as a symbol of India
One hears of Ellora and Ajanta and yet Kailasa is lesser known. Met some other adults who hadn't heard of it. It's a must visit. A full temple complex with a large shivling on first floor.

It's good to see #Mahabalipuram heritage on display today during #ModiXiSummit
Here are some more pics
