A little maid's tale

#maid #nsfwtwt #obedience #service

You can't complain about your life. Literally. There's a limiter chip in your mind that prevents you from voicing any form of complaint. You're just a maid, after all.
Maids complete their duties without fuss, no matter what is done to them. No matter what is demanded. No matter what unpleasant punishments they must endure.
You used to want to complain, you think anyway. It all feels so foggy now. Another little implant took care of that. For every command you follow, and every task you complete, you feel a sense of deep fulfilment.

This is another great #MAID read

The government of Canada loves to lie when they advertise death to disabled people. #MAID

Advertising MAID publically when it is known to be both discriminatory & coercive sets off alarms, but the omissions in it need to be called out.

When listing criteria, they mention ā€“

1/
the main issues that they themselves ignore.

"Intolerable suffering": Is it the disability itself, or the place the system forced them into because of their disability? Doesn't matter! All they have to be is disabled, and intolerably suffering because they have a disability.

2/
"Treatment opinions that are available to them": there are no treatment options available to those in legislated poverty who can't afford it, or for those waiting indefinitely on waiting lists. No options are available for the most vulnerable right now; period.

Besides death.

A major part of the stories of #iamthefaceofMAID is that some health conditions are NOT recognized and/or treated in Canada (like MCS and hEDS). BUT!!! They are recognized by #MAID. This is THE disconnect Canada! This is why we need to talk about #IamthefaceofMAID 1/n
If #MAID will recognize conditions, like #MCS and #hEDS, and there are not even specialists in Canada that treat those conditions. Well, we have a problem.
2/n
The #hEDS community struggles every day, thousands of us, for treatment that we know is available but it is not offered in Canada. Often we travel to the US for diagnosis because there are so few specialists in Canada. The surgeries needed are not offered in Canada. 3/n

Suddenly becoming the face of #MAID to this level is honeslty just kind of part of this never ending nightmare. Iā€™m so tempted to lock my account. But until I get a GI doctor or find someone that can really help me, unless I really canā€™t take one more day, I have to keep going.
I have so much more to say about healthcare and illness and disability and #MAID, but right now, I just need to get through this. Will post more if I can, but if I disappear itā€™s (hopefully) to rest and survive the hospital and testing, and whatever is next.
If there is a compassionate GI doctor who can really try and help in Vancouver, please DM me or my spouse @brunodbo. I know doctors are not gods but I need a hero right now, someone with a can-do attitude. And pain mgmt/palliative asap to survive in the meantime.

I am the face of #MAID (assisted-death) in Canada.

As a 42 year old woman with a rare complication of lupus + iatrogenic injuries I will only cost the 'system'. I want to live but canā€™t get the care I need + have been approved for MAID.

#IamthefaceofMAID #Iamthefaceofhumanity Image
This was me a year and a half ago right before my health was devastated by medical negligence and malpractice, in the form of a catastrophically damaging hospitalisation, misprescribed unnecessary high prolonged doses of prednisone, and a bad reaction to Rituximab infusions. Image
Iā€™ve been begging for care especially with my GI symptoms which are slowly killing me, my specialists have mostly abandoned me, and my medical decline is being attributed to ā€œpsychological distressā€ and my illness (which is absolute BS, it had improved on IVIG).

I donā€™t know where to begin to explain where Iā€™ve been for the last year + a half. Iā€™ve been approved for #MAID after a nightmare of medical malpractice/negligence + severe medication/iatrogenic injuries. I donā€™t want to die, but canā€™t live like this or get adequate medical care.
Spring 2020 I had Covid and was in year 3 of chronic aseptic meningitis from my biweekly IVIG infusions, for which I was taking what I know now to be toxic doses of antihistamines and a lot of hydrocortisone (a steroid) to barely tolerate it, the only treatment available to meā€¦
For my autoimmune small fibre neuropathy (which was later confirmed to be a complication of Sjogrenā€™s + Lupus), which caused severe autonomic neuropathy that was shutting down my digestive system, making me faint, have bladder issues, severe weakness, and many other problems.

I just need to again remind everyone 'on our side' who is making this arbitrary distinctions of which crips they are ok with killing, that I fit the 2016 definition of my end of life being reasonably foreseeable (according to doctors) in 2007, 2008, 2009, 2015...
#MAID
I know what matters more to you is appearing "reasonable" and not being accused of being 'radical' but if you write or speak as if 'terminal' is a magic science word of certainty I know we aren't actually on the same side.
There are some conditions they have more accuracy predicting prognosis of but the law - and your articles and tweets - don't make distinction of which conditions. And reasonably foreseeable is deliberately confusing but terminal is also subject to different definitions as well.

#MAID #AssistedDying The Canadian Government is postponing a change in the law relating to this very controversial topic. The @rcpsych psychiatrists are making a fuss. The pseudoscience should be immediately denounced as such & those professing and/or practicing it investigated.
The #pseudoscience of psychiatry has done great damage to humanity across the world. The practitioners should be assumed guilty, rather than innocent, and investigated for crimes against humanity.
All @Psychiatry is bogus cant, starting with Freud the serial abuser of gentlewomen in Vienna and London. The couchšŸ§ā˜¹ļøšŸ‘½šŸ’€. Some mean good, but in my experience all do bad, whatever the motives. Much of their motivation is sick, devious, and evil.

PUBLIC NOTICE FOR ONTARIO: Please check on your friends/relatives who rely on ODSP

ODSP sent notices of account suspension out to many recipients earlier this month. Itā€™s likely folks wonā€™t be alerted until their landlords ask where their rent is #odspoverty #ontariostorm šŸ§µ1/?
There is no question that this is part of Ontarioā€™s current eugenics policy

The problem with MAiD is not just about poverty and if you don't understand that you keep spreading that you are playing into the Liberal Party of Canada's hands - why tf do you think they have this national benefits long drawn out dog and pony mystery show going on?
Also, I have crips in my DMs who have housing and have sufficient income.
But they are hit by ableism in different ways.
I know you want to make this all about things you ableds can relate to - or that are your situation if you're disabled. But it's wrong.
Analysis is not a laundry list.

Do you all think affirmative action solved racism?
Do you not understand why racialized people fear police regardless of their class?

OK, so if you do, then try to think bigger with ableism.

There's 2 possible positions on Minister Lametti's comments encouraging the use of #MAID for suicide

He doesn't understand #MAID (in which case his tabling of #BillC7 is in serious question)

or

#MAID is a valid response to suicidal ideation sometimes
thestar.com/politics/proviā€¦
You can't both suggest that Minister Lametti understands #MAID and also that isn't a valid response to suicidal ideation (at least under "certain conditions")

He's the one who tabled the amendments we are discussing
You either believe he is unfit for office and bypassed parliamentary procedure without understanding his actions

or

You believe #MAID should used as a "cure" for suicidal ideations(at least for Disabled/Mad people)

@DWDCanada which one is it?

A lot of the people feigning disgust at people in #LegislatedPoverty accessing #MAID have never opened their mouth to advocate for better support

One of the really depressing things about #MAID is that media only considers centering Disabled people in the process of applying

As long as Disabled perspectives only matter as part of a bludgeon against political opponents we will not know truth in media about this issue
As long as we ignore the mass disabling event and call obviously covid-related deaths/sickness "mysterious" flus and "strange" excess death

We are erasing Disability from public view
In the age of pandemic eugenics, everyone must hide disability or order to avoid upsetting the eugenicists who insist that we cater to abled, white, hetero people and structure our entire society around redirecting resources towards their success and future

We're tweeting from tonight's Special Joint Committee on #MAiD (#AMAD) meeting. The theme is the "protection" of persons with disabilities.

We're a bit cynical about the objective of protecting people with disabilities under a law which provides MAiD on the basis of disability to people who are not otherwise dying.
Dr. Heidi Janz is presenting using text to speech.

"My hope is that you, as Canada's policymakers, will finally recognize that Canada's current MAiD regime is in fact eugenics disguised as autonomy and take bold and courageous action to stop the injustice."

Two remarkable admissions David Lametti re #MAID: 1."suicide generally is available to people. 2. [MAID helps people] who, for physical reasons and possibly mental reasons, canā€™t make that choice themselves & do it themselves" @althiaraj @TorontoStar thestar.com/politics/politā€¦
2/ Let that sink it: fed justice minister recognizes that choice is always there. BUT: government wants to facilitate suicide of those who would otherwise be saved by the fact that, fortunately, they often doubt and there is often a barrier to end one's own life...
3/ if this isn't a glorification and problematic simplification of suicide and MAID as a terrific & much needed solution to 'intolerable suffering' of disabled persons, incl persons w mental illness, which needs to be facilitated by the state, what is?
