Congressional action is important. AFT has also been pressing @Meta to put kids before profits including asking union’s pension trustees, who oversee our members approximately 30 million shares of Meta, to demand accountability & transparency of @Meta.

New to this issue? A year ago AFT led a discussion with Facebook whistleblower @FrancesHaugen. I will never forget the anger I saw when she explained how easily @Meta engineers could fix the code that is harming our kids, but they chose not to.
