1. The first permanent movie theatre in #Kerala was set up in #Thrissur by Kattookkaran Varunny Joseph (as Jos Bioscope Projections), following his bioscope shows at #ThrissurPooram. It exists today as Jos Theatre in the heart of the city in the Round.
2. One of the projectors used by Joseph was exhibited for a long time at #Sapna in Thrissur, a theatre founded by his family. It was finally handed over to the Kerala State Chalachitra Academy in 2020. Sapna, incidentally, took life as Rama Varma theatre in the 1930s.

Risk-taking #Malayalam cinema has got gr8 audience support in #Kerala in recent yrs. Streaming sites are taking it to audiences outside Kerala who were earlier deterred by poor show timings at theatres,theatres skipping subs etc. This is democratisation we must fight to preserve.

2) Supreme Court has passed some orders on how news should be carried (official version etc). Now, @PIBFactCheck has been added. Knowing what @PIB_India has been doing since time immemorial, it does not need an Einstein to figure out what this means for #media in #India
3) Advanced nations have not been able to tackle: @narendramodi himself spoke about this in #Lockdown announcement telecast. Easily refutable. Countries, whose leaders were in denial, got screwed. Others didn't. Look at how admirable Korea handled it even with lack of information
