Where I live in the UK, the Tory Govt have "temporarily" closed the post-natal services at the maternity hospital for a month.
Many believe it will not return.
Previously considered a "developed country" UK's status has plummeted.

World health organization states postnatal care is defined as care given to the mother & her newborn baby immediately after the birth of the placenta and for the first 6 weeks of life. The majority of maternal & neonatal deaths occur during childbirth and the postpartum period.
