Concretamente se debe su transición extratropical (transformación en borrasca o ciclón tropical). Este proceso va a ser tan intenso que va a perturbar el flujo de latitudes medias (guía de ondas).
Esta perturbación viajará hacia el este mediante una ondulación en el jet extratropical, de tal forma que destruirá por completo la baja térmica americana, al provocar la llegada del jet extratropical conjuntamente con el desplazamiento de una gran vaguada por la zona.

Bay of Bengal cyclones fifty years ago would routinely kill upwards of 100,000 people. Both Bangladesh & Orissa govts were forced to take it seriously by democratic movements. Good institutions arose from rubble.
