In 2016 Russian GRU targeted swing states to tip them to Trump. In 2018 Russia's targeting key Democrat McCaskill to help Trump grow his slim Republican majority. Putin is all-in on his alliance w/ Trump. I've always said, their real enemy is democracy & Dems who want to keep it.
Putin wanted Trump b/c he'd lift sanctions, normalize Putin & kleptocracy. Win-win for autocrats—Catastrophic loss for everyone else. If they succeed, down goes democracy, rule of law, our freedoms, our kids' futures. Russia's f*kery continues b/c Trump's ok w/ it & GOP needs it.
