Congratulations, Agnieszka @BartenschlagLab! We actually began working on this during the last pandemic threat (#Zikavirus) and the way through editor and reviewer offices was not exactly aided by the current pandemic. But now it’s finally out! jvi.asm.org/content/early/… 
Through TLR3, ZIKV induces proinflammatory #cytokines (IL-6, IL-10), which trigger STAT3 signaling, which in turn dampen #interferon responses. As #RIGI and #MDA5 sense ZIKV and induce IFN production, this antagonism eventually aids viral replication as we can show.
