First, and I can't believe I have to say this, we won't require any municipal councillors to register as lobbyists.

It is incomprehensible to us that the UCP think this is the way to treat local leaders. 🧵 2/ #ableg
Second, we will reverse the UCP's cuts and downloads that have hit Albertans' pocketbooks and municipal budgets.

As part of this, we will introduce the Partners in Prosperity Act, ensuring municipalities have stable funding that rises when provincial revenues rise. 🧵 3/ #ableg

Friends, it’s time for some advocacy.

I want you to write letters to newspapers in Alberta (& beyond) to express your feelings about Jason Kenney and the #UCP.

Below I will provide some links & emails to some papers that need to hear from you.

Dear Diary,
I had the WORST NIGHT! It might take a couple pages to explain it....

Twas some nights before Christmas, and all through the province
Abandoned wells sat untouched. (O&G cleaning their own mess is nonsense!)

The coal leases were sold for pennies per hectare,

In hopes that the Aussies soon would mine there;

Shandro was looking for doctor's driveways to yell at;

While visions of wexit excited dumbass Barnes down in #MedHat;
And mamma on the main floor, and I in the basement,

With Matt and Brock, talking about that $1.6 billion dollar 'misplacement'.

When out on the lawn, it sounded like Rosin was crying,

Something about 'THE FEDS ARE COMING FOR YOUR CHILDREN'', she was implying,

"Dr. Gerry Prince, who was instrumental in the establishment of the clinic 17 years ago, says one physician has already ceased obstetric services and of the remaining eight, at least five are considering a similar move."
“The uncertainty created by Health Minister @shandro's threatened changes … affects our ability to provide the service and undermines the confidence of our doctors to be able to continue,” said Prince.

Just wanted to take a moment to wish everyone a safe & happy #NYE2020! What a year it was personally & professionally. The best part of it, obviously, was getting married in April to the love of my life. #JoeLovesErin Image
On the professional side, my first full calendar year in hosting @CalgaryToday & all I can say is I am continually humbled by how all of you welcomed me into your daily routines. My favourite convo: this one with @underdogakh. #NYE2020 omny.fm/shows/calgary-…
On the @ABDugoutStories front: so many cool stories we were able to tell in written & #ADSPodcast form. My favourite: the series I did on the beginnings of the Pioneer League in #Alberta, including #YQL Expos, #MedHat @BlueJays & #YYC @Cardinals. #NYE2020 albertadugoutstories.com/2019/06/25/the…

More double talk from Ralph. In 2018, I proposed to amend his national security Bill C-59 to remove barriers to intelligence being admitted into Courts to convict terrorists. Liberals voted this down without even debating the issue. #cdnpoli #medhat 1/5

Seems he only cares about it when its an election or he gets pressure from other countries on his complete inaction to convict terrorists who returned to Canada. 2/5
The issue on conviction remains that if our intelligence community shares information with police or prosecutors, the Courts will force them to disclose where the information came from - including the informant and source. 3/5
