Again, this morning (left) but with 21 days ago (right). Oh, how #Wisconsin has fallen. By which I mean risen. Gone up. Got worse. Whatever. You know what I mean.
21 days ago would be right after the WI Supreme Court ruling ending "Safer at Home." In that time, we have doubled the number and rate of cases; 200 more people have died (a 50% increase); and we have lost our position as best in the region for controlling spread of the disease.

#Wisconsin is now poised to lose its best-in-the-region status in terms of infection rate. #Ohio has been improving and, especially after yesterday, WI has not been.

#Wisconsin, rather unbelievably at this point, is still looking better than its neighbors, having the best numbers in all of these measures with the exception of number of dead. However, it won't be long until #Iowa catches up to us.
2/ Again, this is before Wisconsin's "chaos" starts showing in the data. We have a few more days at least. But please note, IT WAS WORKING. Wisconsin remains the best-contained, least fatal state on the list.
3/ This is from the end of April, showing just WI and #Iowa. At the time, Iowa was claiming success with it's mostly-open regional approach. Compared to Wisconsin, based on today's figures, Iowa's been a massive failure.

In 2016, MSM obsessively covered @HillaryClinton emails, while ignoring the far-more-important story of #FBI investigation of the Trump campaign. This failure had a major impact on the election's outcome. My analysis is shaped by experience in both in #journalism and politics:
We're seeing exactly the same dynamic in the 2020 campaign that we saw in 2016: MSM is focusing on horserace issues & GOP talking points, rather than delving into SUBSTANTIVE differences between the candidates. This could determine outcome of Dem primaries-- & general election.
