I had a look at the content and cost of #molybdenum in products like Liquid Moly Synthetic Oil and 3-5% Moly Lubricant/Grease. I assumed due to how recent the price of Moly has moved that price increases likely haven’t been pushed through.
Hard to get exact specs but it appears that high quality synthetic oils contain about 1 gram per litre or around 1% moly. So using $40/lb moly a 5 litre jug that runs $50-65 typically has about 45c of moly. Seems there would be little demand destruction even at $80/lb moly
Moly grease can contain up to 5% moly and a 14.1oz tube can range in cost from $12-15. So prices will rise about $0.80 to pass through a $20/lb increase to $40/lb. A further rise to $80/lb would likely see a further price increase of ~15% on top of that. More significant but… twitter.com/i/web/status/1…

#AuraEnergy initial #uranium reserve expansion, we expect this to move from 30mlbs to over 70mlb within the next 30 months. In the next few weeks expect the initial substantial lift in NPV as the project capacity increases to 3mlbs and the AISC falls to around $20. $AEE
30mlb reserve NPV at $75 pricing = A$400m or 60c per share

70mlb NPV = A$1.0bn or $1.30 per share

$AEE #uranium
Swedish assets with pro #uranium mining add another $2-5 per share NPV through 2027.

Note the $2 per share value in #molybdenum, #Vanadium, #nickel
And #zinc at current spots alone.

Couple years ago I was told it will never happen. Amazing how quickly public sentiment changes and how quickly ass kissing politicians flip and respond to the poles.

Massive new #uranium bull market is in full swing
Japan was the primary source of the #uranium bear market. They’ve been selling off inventory for a decade. Cupboard is empty and they will now have to engage in a massive restocking. How many years of inventory is prudent for nation. They were always very conservative…
Many years of inventory stockpiled and also many more locked up under contract. I expect they will be seeking to contract for hundreds of millions of lbs. Simply explosive for the #uranium market as the biggest source of dumping will become the biggest source of pumping

#uranium is gonna rip just like #molybdenum has.. right to that all time highs. The break out and challenge the inflation adjusted high. The only question is when and what the trigger will be. Perhaps the sanctions coming this week will be the spark.
With the EU and USA both looking to sanction Rosatom things could get interesting. Could lead to aggressive stockpiling as well as captial flows from big fund managers. The sector is so frigging tiny it won’t take much to explode the price higher. People were shocked by sput
Well in this environment it’s possible to see $1bln of flows in a week attempting to buy physical uranium. Or $5bln trying to enter the space. Just look at the swing in market cap in a stock like $tsla alone. It’s an insane world full of maniacs. #uraniumsqueeze is coming

Booking to do an interview with @leadlagreport later this month. Excited as hell to talk about both #molybdenum and #uranium and the joys of hunting where brokers refuse to pay analysts to look
With #molybdenum hitting all time high yesterday I’m excited to see it break and where it ends up running to. Reports keep coming in that there is nearly no stock piles to be had and it’s about to really get crazy. EU industries depend on this ingredient for their steel industry
Inflation adjusting the all time high probably targets a run to $53/lb

And like all other metals… the macro for molybdenum is more bullish this cycle than last.

Very few pure plays other…

Crazy thing is I’m actually bothered by the modest reaction in the price of $moly Greenland resources vs the price of #molybdenum

It has me fired up and wanting to get people to wake up and see what’s happening here.
This has happened over and over again in my investment career. People don’t give a fuck until they are good and ready. Good thing is it makes it easy to hold on for big wins when you understand the company and sector vs a dumb ass market that prefers to trade $tsla
Despite stupid valuations on top of pathetic real earnings growth

Funny… I try to point out to people that #molybdenum is making an all time high and is up around 28% this week. Super squeeze… and I get crickets.. cause basically no one is invested and/or cares as a result.
Just goes to prove the huge opportunity that exists in looking for great stocks in sectors that nobody covers. The financial industry will only get actively involved in the #molybdenum sector (or #uranium sector) at as we near peak and stocks like $moly are well valued
And there’s commissions to be earned trading the stock and investment banking fees to be had from raising big dollars or consulting on a take over. The dynamics of the what it takes to get broker coverage make this inevitable

#molybdenum sensitivity is actually ‘off the charts’ since the current price is ~$31/lb and dramatically above the high case
The ‘net present value’ using a 6% discount rate is more than ~$1 bln higher than the levered best case at the end of the chart above. The higher the price of Molybdenum the easier it will be to get a fat supply/sales agreement done with a major euro steel co.

Greenland Resources Comments on Trading Activity.

Molybdenum price going from $25-32/lb or ~30%+ might have something in do with it?
globenewswire.com/news-release/2…
A 30% jump in the price of #molybdenum $moly Greenland Resources is more than just a significant development imho

greenlandresources.ca/data/pdfs/Malm…
32.8 mln lbs per year multiplied by $7/lb is ~$230mln per year x 20+ years means and extra $4.6 BILLION of cash flow.

The increase in #molybdenum price is greater than $moly’s forecasted cash cost!

EU Mo metal hits fresh highs on supply constraints | Argus Media

"There is zero availability on the ground and some people actually flew some material from China," a trader in Europe said.

#molybdenum
#commoditysupernova argusmedia.com/en/news/240844…
"I am not going to make a position when prices are at an all-time high," the trader said.

Ie. everyone is running down inventory because prices are at 15 year highs and nearing all time high.. so there’s no moly to be found now
Article speaks to a trader actually having to fly some molybdenum in…

What’s gonna happen is we will blow out to new highs. Squeeze and then settle back above the all time highs and contracting will begin. But it seems like with lower mining grades and production problems…

Just reviewing numbers on $moly Greenland Resources with a $32/lb molybdenum

80% pretax IRR
67% post tax IRR

NPV @5 ~$4 bln
NPV @10 ~$2.5 bln

*assume 60/40 debt equity

Vs $85 mln market cap

When this fucker gets it’s permits is gonna go bonkers. 10-20x
Numbers are ridiculous and it’s gonna be taken over quickly imho. It’s too big and strategic a project. Big steel company is gonna snag it. FFS
Best #molybdenum play around. One of the only pure plays moly companies of merit and it was permitted last cycle… getting close to completing its repermitting.

I loaded up on millions of shares cause this is exactly the type of stock that has delivered for me in the past

Did you know where the potentially largest #uranium mines are in the world? Do you know the company that has the most upside in Sweden reinstating uranium mining? $AEE

This scoping study level project has a sub $20/lb AISC given the huge credits from Nickel, Molybdenum and V. Image
Reality check:

Low grade #uranium mines with massive secondary credits = low AISC outcomes

The option value of the Swedish assets to be built into $AEE's stockprice for $5-8 of NPV is 10-20c over the next 1-5 months.
You have been warned $AEE

$URNM entry coupled with #uranium Mining ban removal = satisfactory result

I’ve been warning people about the cross over investments that tech and crypto investors have in the #uranium market.

My researching crypto and warning of its collapse and the tech bull market ending is due to my concerns of a liquidity down draft spill over effect in uranium
I expect that this will be a continued theme with commodity markets pulling back at times with the broader market but I expect will continue to show relative strength and rebound to new highs in time.
The same thing happened in 2000-2002 as the nasdaq fell apart and the bull market in commodities running from 2000-2010 (depending on the commodity)

Capital will keep leaving the over valued tech and crypto sectors but it will continue to flow to and grow in commodity markets

Investing in #Tungsten
I start off each series on investing in a different metal talking about mineralogy – this will be no different! There are 2 commercially valuable mineral types in tungsten – scheelite (calcium tungstate) and the wolframite series (iron-manganese tungstate.)
Scheelite is generally speaking easier and cheaper to recover than wolframite, mainly because it is recoverable via gravity and flotation means whereas wolframite only by gravity. Scheelite fluoresces which can make a trip to an underground #tungsten mine very interesting!
Both scheelite and wolframite are brittle meaning that they are liable to produce unrecoverable slimes during processing. These #tungsten minerals have a very high specific gravity though, of 6 g/cm3 and 7 g/cm3 respectively, making gravity separation relatively simple.

The Pebble Mine project has the potential to provide critical American resources that will strengthen our economy.
It would be an important source of copper, gold, molybdenum, and critical rare earth metals and create thousands of jobs in an economically-depressed region in Alaska.
