How I would have amplified BJY

Firstly I would convert Kerala INC’s Jaihind TV to national news channel and live telecast BJY on it and share feed with others

Satellite feed means no issues like buffering etc.

Then I would ask godi bosses to live telecast BJY both legs for at
least 15 min each, mention its progress in news bulletins in exchange for continued access to reporters

They’ll obviously say no

Then I would rope in top 1000 secular YouTubers from all regions of India

I would ask them to live stream BJY live feed on their channels, upload
all BJY videos, promote them and share feedback.

I would assess their financial situation and offer support for amplifying BJY.

Then meet digital news site owners with the same offer that was offered to YouTubers.

It's the shrug in this tweet that is part of the problem. If you share the survey minus a context where you explain how constitutional morality (as opposed to majoritarian morality) is supposed to work in law-making & life, you make the results seem like a mandate. #journalism
Such findings are not surprising. What @IndiaToday @sardesairajdeep could do for context for eg: discuss SARI surveys which found that most Indians across caste lines want intercaste marriage outlawed. No govt said that's a mandate for such laws? Why not? thehindu.com/opinion/op-ed/…
SARI surveys, which are high on context & analysis not clickbait, also found that a majority practices untouchability. That is not a mandate for legalising untouchability, and that needs to be underscored, explained when shared in media @IndiaToday

Whatever be the biases in the #MoodOfTheNation survey, it gives both direction and hope to citizens who are fighting this statist, bullying government.

And that comes from what the sample set thinks about the CAA, 2019. 1/n
It is a survey that is full of contradictory results. Precisely why it gives us tremendous insights.

It says 85% of people have either lost their job or has seen their income fall due to covid. But.. 2/n
But a whopping 91% percent of the people feel we have either done better or at par compared with other countries.

A comparison with just our neighbouring countries would have given the respondents a better picture.

And that's a comparison that hasn't reached them.. yet. 3/n

90% respondents @IndiaToday spoke to were in favour of boycotting Chinese products in response to Chinese transgressions at #LAC. #Galwan (No, that is not India's only response to Chinese treachery) Read @IndiaToday for #MoodOfTheNation. Big focus on @PMOIndia response to #China. Image

A suivre donc.
