So #MoonFall sucked and, to me, represents a lot about what's wrong with the film industry today, where sloppy, weak storytelling is allowed because (1) there are big enough names tied to the project and (2) it banks on emotional investment pre-existent of the film itself.
Mainstream film today trades in a bloated version of self-referentiality/intertextuality. It regularly prioritizes how feelings created OUTSIDE a given film can be brought in, recycled, and exploited for commercial gain with an inferior product.
It's why we are constantly seeing a million Marvel movies, live adaptations of Disney films, reboots/remakes/BELATED sequels (e.g., Top Gun Maverick), etc. They all rely on affective investments that originated elsewhere. Nostalgias from The Before simulated in The Now.
People like to talk about the online advertising industry as if it’s a monolith but it’s really two broad industries; push (display/social) and pull (search) based advertising.

There are different types of products and industries which benefit from each type of ad product. If you want to buy a lawn mower, you perform a search and “pull” ads to you about various types.
While browsing feeds an ad for #Moonfall is pushed to you letting you know it exists.

Both types of ads are dependent on tracking but for different reasons. Both types need tracking to be able to tell if you bought the item in the ad you clicked on to both improve ad targeting & charge the advertiser. Amazon is unique because you click ads & buy on their site.

Enchanting homage to love in luxury hotel's holiday season. Kwak Jae-young got typical 'K-drama' romance with expected sentimental moments. At least famous cast delivered good performances and very easy on the eye to create warm and fuzzy feel in our hearts
