Im Aufenthaltsgesetz soll es minimale zeitliche Verkürzungen um ein Jahr auf dem Weg zu einer Aufenthaltserlaubnis geben. Nach §25a und §25b können gut integrierte Jugendliche und Erwachsene eine Aufenthaltserlaubnis nach der Erfüllung bestimmter Bedingungen erhalten. (2/x)

Vorab: Die Untersuchungen hätten durchgeführt werden müssen, BEVOR Menschen dort in Zelten wohnen. Ganz besonders, weil es sich um ein Militärgelände mit einer Schießbahn handelt. 2/17
Für eine Studie von @EASO, MMA, @EU_Commission & EAGME wurden 12 Proben entnommen, wohl unter Einhaltung internationaler Standards. 11 sollen unterhalb des Grenzwertes für Wohnungsbau sein. 1 Probe soll diesen überschreiten: vermutlich auf der ehemaligen Schießbahn. (Karte) 3/17
Auf #Lesbos hat es Schneeregen, für die Nacht sind Minusgrade vorhergesagt. Es ist saukalt, die Leute frieren und haben nichts zu heizen. 1/3
Das Wetter ist so schlecht und bedrohlich, dass der Bürgermeister von Mytilini gestern Hallen am Hafen für obdachlose Griech:innen geöffnet hat. Derweil ist das Flüchtlingslager #Karatepe weiter im lockdown. Die Sommerzelte (etwa 50% aller Zelte) sind komplett durchnässt.
Es sei die "komplette Hölle", wird uns gesagt. Die nächsten Tage soll es kalt bleiben. Weil das Camp keine eigenen Generatoren hat und der reguläre Strom nicht reicht, was seit langem klar ist, können 800 Heizgeräte nicht betrieben werden.

Update: Since a few days there are some showers with warm water. Showers can be taken for only a few minutes once a week. But that does not mean that there are humane conditions now. We will open an extra thread tomorrow to explain the shower system.

The tents at #Moria2 where set up quickly. They have no floor. What's if it rains? They are not winter-proof. The camp is exposed to the north. In autumn & winter the wind is heavy & cold. How to heat these tents? There is no electricity. Almost no light at night 2/9

The Camp is build on an old military shooting range. How save could an old shooting range be? Save enough to put thousands of #refugeesgr on it? No one knows what's in the ground. It's for sure chemically contaminated. A lot of children gonna play there. 3/9
