How was PG&E convicted of mass manslaughter in the 2018 #CampFire?

We finally have the case they pleaded guilty to: 42 days of secret testimony in front of a Butte County grand jury.

We've made all 5,000+ pages available, but since you likely haven't got time to read 'em...
...here's a link to our story.

And a brief thread on what @ABC10's #FirePowerMoney team found inside 👇

Dozens of PG&E employees testified under oath.

Prosecutors started with what they found at the origin point of the Camp Fire:

This.

A broken cast-iron C-hook that held up the bare wire, estimated to be a 97+ year old original part on PG&E's Caribou-Palermo line.

This hook broke first, likely because it was was on a tower that sat on this wind-prone hilltop.

But there were many more:

Lot of attention today focused on SW flank of #MosquitoFire near Foresthill, but eastern flank is also very active today. With upcoming period of SW winds--perhaps getting pretty strong over weekend--there is *possibility* it could run upslope toward Tahoe Basin. #CAwx #CAfire
.@wildland_zko & others have been thoughtfully considering this possibility for some days. With today's resurgence in activity, plus upcoming weather (SW winds, perhaps strong this wknd), & given now record dryness of heavy (100-1000hr) fuels, this is within realm of possibility.
Source for that "record dryness" claim: here's the 1000hr fuel moisture chart for the Northern Sierra PSA as of today. 100hr FM, 1000hr FM, and ERCs all at record levels for date and essentially tied with all-time, any date records. #CAfire

With a massive pyrocumulus cloud mushrooming from the fiery core of the #MosquitoFire as if it was an erupting volcano, firefighters took the fight to the blaze in of all places — Volcanoville.

The tiny town got its name from miners who mistook a nearby mountain as an extinct volcano.

By Saturday, most residents had fled, leaving behind fire crews sawing dead trees, dousing burning trunks and parking in driveways to protect structures. sfchronicle.com/california-wil…
The small town was founded in 1851 and grew exponentially amid the California Gold Rush, bringing thousands of residents to the area by the late 1850s. Fires destroyed the community twice, once in 1879 and again in 1907. sfchronicle.com/california-wil…

#MosquitoFire (#Foresthill, Placer Co/El Dorado Co) - From the townhall meeting: they were lucky today w/ the inversion & smoke setting in for the day: didn't see that extreme fire behavior from yesterday. ~2,000 firefighters being moved in to the fire.
#MosquitoFire - Branch 5 (Foresthill) has been holding really good. They've been able to do some mop up in there today & get more lines in around Foresthill. They were able to get into Branch 20 (Volcanoville) to do some mopup around structures, looking to get some line in there.
#MosquitoFire - They've been doing a lot of scouting in the areas towards the east. It's big country & a lot of steep drainages. From the fire behavior analyst: yesterday at 12pm it was 8,000 acres. Temp was 95, RH was 15% & winds were 6mph. That resulted in a 21,000 acre growth.
