Remember that existence of PE film was initially denied when women complained and P&G told us that their pads are the same everywhereš¤£During the meeting, they admitted that the new "improved" pads still had PE film but in a finer softer form.

Well. I just watched this. My thoughts.
These guys have clearly taken advantage of the time they spent away from socials to think about just how terribly they handled this following #MyAlwaysExperience.
I like that the beginning is an acknowledgement of the fact that people complained....and there was none of the āwhat are you complaining aboutā that we are so accustomed to.
So last week, Always invited me to a consumer roundtable to ostensibly have an open and honest conversation about my experience with the brand.

Let me first say that I was not happy AT ALL with how Always handled #MyAlwaysExperience. Responding to legitimate complaints with an influencer campaign without first addressing their consumers was a mistake.
I suffer from endometriosis. My period is hectic enough without having to deal with a pad that isnāt comfortable. Sadly, I didnāt have other options as other brands were not equipped do deal with my flow. So I stopped using Always Ultra and stuck to the Always Maxi.
In the UK Always ignores women when we beg them to sell unscented pads that don't stink of pot pourri bc we don't want a perfumed vag.
In Africa they ignore women begging them to sell pads that don't cause them *actual physical harm*
