Scorched Earth is a military term which describes the tactic of burning everything to the ground as an “enemy” approaches. The thing that is utterly mind blowing is that they don’t give a F. who gets hurt/what gets said or whether lie after lie is made up as long as they win.
This is the role the narcissist assigns you if you discard them.
