As you may know, my youngest daughter had a rare blood disease and was immune-compromised starting from when she was 9mo. She also had a bout of pneumocystis that resulted in respiratory failure and her being intubated in the PICU for almost 2 weeks just after her 1st birthday...
Obviously, with such a medical history, I have been concerned particularly about her health during #Covid_19. I even contacted Lee Health Hem-Onc at the beginning of the pandemic to confirm we should self-isolate to keep her protected. And this is what we have done...
With a lack of leadership and wonton disregard for life #Floridacoronavirus numbers are skyrocketing. The rise is much greater than expected from ⬆️testing. The virus is spreading b/c people are being told everything is fine, when in fact it is not. 😡

Lack of data transparency from @GovRonDeSantis in an effort to boost the economy at the cost of human lives is disgusting. This behavior erodes trust in government. We expect our leaders to be competent and act in our best interests. This has not happened #Floridacoronavirus
