NEW PAPER in #ScienceAdvances. The Nadir Crater offshore West Africa: A candidate Cretaceous-Paleogene impact structure science.org/doi/10.1126/sc… 1/14
The paper describes a remarkable, symmetrical crater imaged using seismic reflection data, and buried below >300 m of sediment and 900 m of water in the outer Guinea Plateau 2/14 
It shows characteristics consistent with an impact origin, including geometric relationships between crater depth and width, rim elevation, as well as a pronounced central uplift and intense deformation in the ‘brim’ outside of the central crater 3/14

The Port Harcourt Electricity Distribution Plc, wishes to inform its valued customers and the members of public that Port Harcourt metropolis, the Rivers state capital has been experiencing power outage this week as a result of the action of Oyigbo Youth.
They barricaded the Transmission Station located inside Afam Community, the main source of power supply to the City.
The Oyigbo Youth also carried out the same habitual action on the 14th August 2020, which culminated to total darkness in the Garden City,
