As initially warned, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has delivered what many Nigerians have come to describe as a “sham.” All careful analysis pointed us to this endpoint.
Again, I am more disappointed with the leadership of the opposition political parties, their presidential candidates and campaign councils than I am with INEC about this charade of an election.
We provided them with timely data-backed evidence of the plans to subvert the wishes of ordinary Nigerians. We also suggested strategies to avert them. They ignored stone-cold data and chose to anchor their plans - the entirety of them - on mere assurances.

2. There was the deep disappointment at @inecnigeria’s logistical shortcomings & failure to live up to its #IReV promises; there was also YIAGA Africa’s finding that the results declared for Imo and Rivers were inconsistent with its parallel vote tabulation (PVT) projections.
3. @YIAGA could make that assertion because it had observers in all 774 Local Government Areas and used PVT which allows it to project the results to be expected.
(I hope no one is surprised that it was Imo and Rivers? Let's see if INEC upholds or corrects those results.)

for those extremely confused, Nigeria used a new vote reporting system and had bad reporting delays. Not the main point of my piece but weird I can't find a manufacturer for the biometric system, governments rarely make such things in house. It should be a contractor.
for the record, I have no reason to think anything nefarious went on, it's just strange I can't find the name of the contractor, and will otherwise be publishing that I couldn't discover who made them [its only a minor component of my story]

The 2023 presidential election holds today and residents of Agulu community, in Anambra state, are gearing up for a poll that may seal their fate for the next decade. Agulu is the ancestral home of Peter Obi, presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP).

Go out and exercise your franchise understanding that not everyone agrees with you and there are a million and one reasons why your favourite candidate may or may not win. Commit to supporting the winner knowing that be you as smart as Solomon, the majority is wiser still.
Everyone just wants a government and country that works for them. Our choices are different, but our desire is singular. You cannot hate your government and claim to love your country, neither can your candidate be the ONLY good one. May God bless you and may He bless Nigeria.
