4 out of 6 of these countries are in Africa. Trump has never wanted immigration from Africa, remember this remark about "shithole countries"? 4 of them are also majority Muslim, so there's def a pattern here.

Today’s historic hearing on the Muslim ban matters. As someone who came here as a refugee from one of the Trump administration’s banned countries, I know how destructive this hateful policy is to people around the world who want to come to America for a better life.
Today, the families who can’t see their loved ones have some accountability. People around the world wondering if this is still the land where they have a shot at a better life, regardless of religion, will see that one party at least still believes in those values.
We will keep fighting until we have fully repealed the Muslim ban and put this hateful policy into the dustbin of history where it belongs. If your representative and senators haven’t co-sponsored the #NoBanAct, put pressure on them today by calling (202) 224-3121.
