The D-Day, the day of the Normandy Landings, was a crucial one in World War II. On June 6, 1944, the West made its most audacious move against the Nazis. After the initial setback, they advanced and finally liberated France (Sure you have seen Saving Private Ryan). #Antifa
Take a look at the background. The Allied forces opened the western front after the Nazis were defeated in Stalingrad. Stalin had long asked the West to attack the Nazis from the West, but Roosevelt and Churchill delayed the plans, but offered other help to the Soviets.
The West finally opened a new front after Germany had to pull out thousdans of troops from the West to compensate their losses in the east where the Red Army was slowly and steadily ripping them. #NormandyLandings #Antifa
