I bet you had no idea that China wants to pillage America's lithium reserves like we're one of their subservient client states–and that the Biden admin, led by @JenGranholm, is poised to help them do so!

We know the Chinese Communist Party is pillaging Africa for rare earth elements and other raw materials integral to modern life. What disturbingly few people know is how close Beijing came—and might still be coming—to doing the same thing here!

Lithium Americas, a Canadian company whose single largest shareholder has direct ties to the CCP, wants to mine the largest lithium deposit in North America with the benefit of taxpayer-funded loans—and the Biden admin is doing nothing about it!

All of Clark County's Election Day results have been uploaded to the Secretary of State's website.

Joe Lombardo is now ahead of Steve Sisolak statewide by 16,000 votes. Adam Laxalt leads Cortez Masto by just 615 votes.

We're still waiting on the rest of Washoe County's Election Day results, as well as rural (and red) Douglas and Lyon counties.

Expect GOP to boost margins in the statewide races more tonight, but...
As we reported earlier, there are at least 16,000 mail ballots not included in tonight's results still to be counted, plus whatever shows up in the mail.

Likely tens of thousands of Clark mail ballots to be counted as well.

Tomorrow night, Nevada may find itself at the center of the political universe. Control of the U.S. Senate may hinge on who wins the Silver State. And who wins Nevada may come down to purple Washoe County.

My final preview on election eve:
I'm proud of the comprehensive midterm election coverage we've been able to bring you on @KRNV this cycle.

A couple quick highlights 🧵
While Adam Laxalt chose not to sit down with us, we had the chance to press Catherine Cortez Masto for our #nvsen preview on rising costs, student loan debt, gas prices and more: mynews4.com/news/local/one…

(THREAD) Ever notice the media trend - it's decades old - not to mention the political affiliation of accused officials if they are Democrats? The slaying of Las Vegas reporter Jeff German by an elected county Democrat has the media daring not to name the suspect's party. (1)
Some stories, of course, mention the suspect's party affiliation, lower down. They kind of have to. Jeff German's stories caused Robert Telles to lose his primary a few weeks ago. But not NBC News. No mention at all in initial draft. (2)
The media knows many people do not read past the headline or first paragraphs. If a Republican had killed a reporter, that would be big news to the media. A Democrat, however, becomes a "politician" or "elected official." (3)

Huge weekend for Democratic gubernatorial candidates getting major newspaper endorsements. (THREAD WARNING)
In #iagov, @FredHubbell got endorsed by the 2 largest papers in Iowa on Sunday.

1. @DMRegister: "He is perhaps the most qualified person in decades to seek Iowa’s governorship"

2. @gazettedotcom: "Hubbell is the best choice to dramatically change course at the Statehouse."
In #FLGov, Andrew Gillum got the endorsement of the @orlandosentinel and the @MiamiHerald. He's now been endorsed by the 4 biggest newspapers in Florida.

Sentinel: "His platform is geared toward the middle class"

Herald: "The best candidate to pull Florida back to the center"
