Announcing new speakers for #MassiveAdoption (Memphis,TN on November 7-8, 2000 attendees) and re-announcing speakers previously confirmed in an effort to build a single comprehensive thread. We're currently at about 50% of our roster.

#MassiveAdoption is the first event focused on onboarding curious professionals into the world of blockchains & digital assets, including Bitcoin.

We do this through TEDx-style talks, workshops & real interactive crypto experiences with 🔥 partners.

And whiskey, music & BBQ.
Just today, @YahooFinance wrote that the average Bitcoin holder in America is older, a parent & more conservative (in many regards) than many of us had imagined.

They can also #stacksats at @Safeway (thanks @trylolli 🍭)

This is who #MassiveAdoption speaks to.

Long Reads Sunday #48.

Welcome to an extended long weekend long reads! For readers in the USA celebrating Memorial Day, happy official beginning of summer. As this week’s LRS shows, the weather’s not the only thing that’s heating up!

Smash some BBQ and tuck in! 👇
2/ Starting right off with the heat, @nic__carter flagged this @circlepay blog post arguing that recent SEC guidance suggests a shift in tone making it dangerous for exchanges like Poloniex to operate in the US.

Looking forward to being back in town for #NYBlockchainWeek! Going out on a limb to say the world doesn’t need another guide to the 100+ events going on, so thought I'd share some tips & food/drink rec's as a native NYer, who's recently moved & rather homesick. Here goes:
TL;DR - New York is for (food) lovers. Less networking, more eating.
Finding your way around Manhattan is easier than most other US cities. It's a simple grid of Streets and Avenues until you hit downtown, but you likely won't be walking around there much. Streets (y-axis) increase in number going north, Avenues (x-asis) increase going west.
