What a great run by the Oilers. While this was not the outcome we all hoped for, and the pain and sting of the loss is still new and raw, but it was so much fun to feel that playoff energy and excitement again.

This team, our team, gave us some great memories these playoffs. Remember, we made it to the final 4 and we were watching and cheering our team in June.
My highlights include the gutsy game 6 and 7 against LA, capped with McDavid scoring late in the 3rd to seal the series.

Ohmydogness! I was working and now I'm late for tonight's game! My @EdmontonOilers are playing the @NHLFlyers and I'm predicting a 3-2 Oilers win. I get a cube of Alberta beef when my team scores and a bonus for the win so I'm pretty excited.

needed a difference maker. Hellebuyck is a Vezina winner and showed it. Needed that big save though to get us a win.
We couldn’t up our game in other ways to compensate for the fact that they had awesome tending.
Different penalty standards in playoffs hurts Oilers too.

Odd coaching moves:
- Would have liked to see 13 with 97 and 29 in OT as 13 played with 97 all year. Not sure what the thought process was there.
- Benching 74 all OT after he was on first d pair the day before.
- 9 forwards and 4 d for all OT is not a winning formula.

On Tuesday I found out that my baby was dead. I’ve never done a thread before, but I’m doing one because I think it’s important to spread this message. I’ll use some local hashtags #yeg #ableg #abhealth #AHS #yegcc #oilers #covid19 to show that I'm a real person in Edmonton, AB.
Who knows, maybe this will be therapeutic for me. I could sure use some therapy right now.
I need to start somewhere so I’ll start with March 27. That was the day we started to show symptoms. They weren’t severe but we knew something wasn’t right. My head felt cloudy, I was tired, it wasn’t a typical Saturday for me.
So one of the biggest complaints I've seen from #Flyers fans over their efforts this season, is "they get scored on a lot, right after scoring".
