2. This temporary relief expired in July '19. In any case, these tariffs were not graduated & came with crazy restrictions around consumption over a period of 3mths that saw electricity consumers playing mazzematics with their bills! Such confusion.

2. WaKenya: there are 2 kinds of domestic consumers.

a) domestic lifeline (less than 100 units/mth = Sh10/unit)
b) domestic ordinary (more than 100 units/mth = Sh15.8/unit)

You MUST average either less or more than 100 units over 3mths to stay in a category.

3. WaKenya: so, if you are "lifeline" (Sh10) & by bad luck you exceed your 100 units - say to 110 units - on 1 of the months but on the other 2mths you were at 99, your 3mth average will be 102.6 units/mth.

You will be automatically moved to "domestic" (Sh15.8)

1. WaKenya: Way back on 10.01.18, @KenyaPower admitted to overbilling consumers. 3.3 says that KPLC would launch a publicity campaign, & set up help desks. Did this happen?

No. KPLC disobeyed the court. Fraudulent billing continues to date.

2. WaKenya: On 1 August, @Kenya_Power issued a statement announcing the establishment of billing query counters & a 2wk moratorium for all those with concerns. Did you see those counters? Anywhere?

There were MANY disconnections during that time.
