Perhaps the violence displayed between #WillSmith and #ChrisRock at #Oscars2022 was “scarier than a Southern Baptist Convention” because it was an open display of the outcome of four centuries of violence by Southern Baptists on bodies, minds and souls of African descent.
It was #ChrisRock’s bow to white patriarchy by undercutting a sharp Black woman’s hair and calling her less than a woman in front of billions of people.
It was #ChrisRock’s choice to belittle a human being with a disability (alopecia). The roots of white supremacy do not consider the disabled human, therefore they are unprotected from humiliation.

But in my view, the #Oscars2022 red carpet looks are a bit of a dud this year.
I feel like the tailoring on most of the dresses is... off? Like, weird hemlines, verrrry weird boob/chest cutouts and .... wrinkled? Such a bummer.

I love this woman. Period. She is also a major style icon for me. 9/10, I love her looks.
But I can't get over how bad this dress is. The tailoring up top is terrrrible. The waist/hemline are not cooperating. It straight up looks like it doesn't fit properly.

Another disappointment for me.
The colour is too cool on her fair skin and in certain lights, you can see wrinkles in the dress. Which will certainly only get worse after she sits in it!

1. Pérez y su equipo de trabajo, colaboraron en la elaboración del corto ‘Nuevo Rico’ que es dirigido por el puertorriqueño Kristian Mercado y que cuenta la historia de dos hermanos de Puerto Rico envueltos en el mundo de la fama que genera el reggaeton en ese país.
2. El corto ya recibió varios reconocimientos internacionales en festivales de América y Europa y recientemente portales como ‘Variety’ y ‘Cartoon Brew’ lo ubicaron en sus listas de favoritos para quedarse con una nominación a los Oscar en la categoría ‘Mejor corto de animación'.
