Bayraktar: the initial detention was based on two articles of the TR penal code - art 309 (attempting to overthrow the constitutional order) and art 312 (attempting to overthrow the government). For 15 months he was kept in prison not knowing what these charges was based on.
Bayraktar: after almost two years, his detention under art 309 was lifted in October 2019, without any indictment drawn under this charge. During this time his prosecution under art 312 carried on and he was acquitted.
