The fact this case is one of first impression in a school shooting case suggests that the law is actually pretty tolerant of shitty parenting. And it is. And should be. The schools liability is different; not excusable, but not the same. Two teachers acted responsibly. 2/

IOW, the #OxfordHighSchool shooting is yet another example of the stochastic terrorism borne of the Trump era and the ongoing radicalization of MAGA Youth at the behest of the GOP & NRA. The insurrection rages on and it doesn’t stop at the school doors either.
Some of the first photos have emerged of the boy accused of killing four & injuring seven others at a school shooting near Detroit. The suspect has been charged as an adult with murder, terrorism, assault and weapons possession charges. nypost.com/2021/12/01/mic… 
The boy’s name wasn’t released publicly because he is a minor but @detroitnews tipped off the public by letting internet sleuths know to do a simple google search. An Instagram account believed to be his was quickly deactivated.
