My holiday spoons are fickle. #MySpoons
Yesterday - the day after I ran out of my pain meds - I pulled a muscle behind my boob.

Thank goodness #spoonie Twitter was here to rescue me.
But now I get to spend Christmas

- in more pain than usual
- with more #painsomnia
- and less medication & other methods of easing the pain

My sister brought me coffee with the breakfast she made me.

YAY!!!!
[The GIF of a cup of coffee whose bubbles look like it’s smiling agrees with me!]
A protein-heavy breakfast already changes my whole day for the better.

I can no longer do this for myself until hours after I’m up, if at all. (Morning stiffness + stairs.)

A3. From home I observed #ACR18 featuring patient interviews like the one with @DawnMGibson.

It gave me so much hope & vidation about #painsomnia. #CreakyChats
A3. Iearned about patient posters & through community representatives who attended, that researchers and doctors were observing and listening. #CreakyChats
A3. That meant so much to me. I'm still thinking about it and browsing and observing material from the #LupusChat attendees, @CreakyJoints and @DawnMGibson.

What a well timed moment to be be newly diagnosed with Arthritis & Fibro.

A4. Yes because I trust your word @DawnMGibson.

I am newly diagnosed with Arthritis in my right hip. I've been complaining about my hip and walking with a cane for years. #SpoonieChat
A4. And I learned so much for #ACR18 and @CreakyJoints and @DawnMGibson's #Painsomnia interview.

#SpoonieChat
A4. It gave me lots of opportunities to learn about #fibro (which is often treated by Rhematologists.)

And I'd never heard of patient posters. There was so much sharing. I was so imoressed with the patient involvement at #ACR18.

😆🤣😂I died when @DawnMGibson said that some sleep hygiene tips are muggle advice! #ACR18 #Painsomnia
"Magical beings such as myself don't always do well with that." #ACR18 #SpoonieChat #Facts
I much prefer the idea of a sleep PLAN. You don't hear people talking about our #painsomnia struggle outside of giving the standard advice that doesn't work for is. #ACR18
