Last night I with my family watched the blockbuster #TheKashmirFiles. The theatre was fully packed with every age grp ppl, from old to young. The craze for this movie was just amazing.
This ws my 1st film theatre, and going to remember it forever.

Brahma dutt represents the Govt. Hari Narain represents the Police or Law and Order. And finally, Vishnu Ram represents the Press of India. The movie shows - in very clear terms the inactions or helplessness of these institutions while the atrocities were happening.

The movie #TheKashmirFiles - a “Watershed”. I couldn’t think of a better word to express the anger this movie leaves one with. It’ll be unjust to call it stories, but these are facts & truths that couldn’t have been told in any better way & craftily than this. Let this be a start
Director @vivekagnihotri - “Courageous”. It truly takes courage to fight against all odds in an industry known for its biases, hypocrisies & sugar coating and then pick up “not a fairy tale” but facts and present those truths with an everlasting impact. He’s gutsy & genius.
I have come out benumbed watching #TheKashmirFiles. @AnupamPKher has lived the role and breaks your heart. #PallaviJoshi brings alive a character she doesn't believe in. Young #DarshanKumar brings out the pain & angst of Kashmiri youth. Mithun da, Belawadi, Puneet all 👏👏👏1/3
.@vivekagnihotri presents the truth as is, unwarnished, well researched. Pithy dialogues. "Sarkar unki hai, system toh hamara hai", Pallavi tells the confused young Kashmiri. 2/3
I have researched and worked for justice to #KashmiriHindus since 2003 or so. Debates, articles, book. Have been sad, tense, angry. But nothing prepares you for watching what you know come alive.
