1. I didn’t really want to spend my time fact-checking this thoroughly incorrect coverage of the #PangburnCatastrophe but since I’ve been covering it since the beginning & have a thread for other coverage, I felt this Outline piece needed to be included.

2. I should note that there are other errors in other sections of the piece but I don’t want to spend the next 3 days working on this fact check so I will only be fact-checking the section titled “The Implosion of the “Intellectual Dark Web””.
3. As with my other #PangburnCastrophe threads, I will refer to Pangburn Philosophy as “PP” and former President & CEO, Travis Pangburn, as “Travis” for clarity.

1. Covering the #PangburnCatastrophe has gotten somewhat unmanageable so I’m tweeting this thread of threads partly for my own reference but also so readers can bookmark it.

This thread will contain links to all of my Pangburn related threads and will be updated if possible.
2. I’m continuing to collect info about the demise of Pangburn Philosophy but what I’m finding is that while people are more than willing to share info with me, they often don’t want to go public with what they know or experienced, so there’s a lot that I can’t share.
3. For now this thread will not be in chronological order. Note that some of the links in threads may now be broken as Travis has been moving things/taking down. I’ve archived pages where possible. If you’re having trouble finding pages, see this thread.

1. Well this is interesting. Seems that Travis Pangburn, organizer of many IDW-type lecture events, is engaging in poor business practices.
2. He cancelled the Boston event with Bret Weinstein & Douglas Murray twice (May & Sept) with no explanation. My friend had tickets for us to the Sept show. Was refunded, but we were disappointed and not impressed by the lack of explanation.
3. Update to Pangburn Philosophy's Day of Reflection conference, which had been scheduled for this Saturday - they cancelled with no mention of refunds for people's $499 tickets anywhere. Event page is still live.
