China between Finger 5 & 8 does not have strategically important land but India on the South Pangong Tso commanding heights has strategic advantage. After giving China 4 months to pull back, India's deft maneuvere sends out a big signal to China. Under estimate India at own risk
China preventing our patrols in some areas was only because India was playing by the rule book & China violating it with impunity. Now that India has checkmated China in its own game, road ahead will be very tricky. Its advantage India due to high altitude experience & knowledge.

Galwan valley is of very high strategic importance to both India & China. It is the gateway to Aksai Chin which is claimed entirely by India but occupied by China. Galwan valley was one of the major battles of 1962 war.

Interestingly, post-1962, there have been no military face-offs vis-a-vis the region. That is, until now. Around 15th June, this region blew to headlines after deadly brawl between Indian and Chinese troops. There is no official breakdown of events, so let's look at the issue.
Our braves are fighting for every inch of Indian territory. At #Galwan Chinese were pushed beyond #PP14 at a great cost of supreme sacrifice by 20 braves. At #PangongTso soldiers remain eyeball to eyeball at Finger 4. Have we surrendered? Have Chinese won without firing a shot?
Is it all over? Not at all. We lost 43,000 sqkm land & not just in 1950s but even in the past decade. Now when soldiers are holding ground to stop the Chinese salami slicing instead of standing as one people, there is petty point scoring? Stand together against Chinese aggression
Yes questions must be asked how did the Chinese build fortifications between Finger 4 & 8 and come beyond #PP14 at #Galwan before being pushed back. Ask all questions about political & military leadership & Int & Ops decisions... but first push the Chinese back. Keep #IndiaFirst
