@DrIsaPantami, as against what purveyors of mischief & merchants of evil want the world to understand is far from terrorism of any kind. Listen to what a world renown author that has researched deeply on Bokoharam got to say about #PantamiWillStay. He said, in response to one
mischievous @FaladeBabatope, who again is banking on the laziness & Ignorance of his ilks to link the Honorable Minister to terrorism:
"In no way do I endorse or asdociate myself with the media campaign against Pantami, whose statements from long ago are being taken out of
context.

As others have pointed out, Pantami's debate with Muhammad Yusuf shows Pantami to have been an opponent of Bokoharam". Dr. Alex Thurson @sahelblog is an associate professor of political science & someone who has vastly researched on the subject matter.

WHEN PAST HAUNTS PRESENT

Mahmud Jega

Which aspect of our past should haunt our present, how much should it do so, how much of a price should we pay, which ones among us should pay such a price, and how much quarter should be given to us when we later

moderate our positions & say that we regretted some things we said or did in the past?

The top story in Nigeria last week was the storm swirling around Minister of Communications & Digital Economy Dr Pantami, with some people calling for his head over some past

utterances in which he showed sympathy for international terrorist groups. They say that this country’s SIM data base, recently linked to our NINs & abt to be coupled to our BVNs, are not safe in Pantami’s hands coz he has sympathy for Al Qaeda, ISIS & Taliban.

THE FUTILE EFFORTS SO FAR:

Let me set the record straight again. The narrative they all struggled to push down our throats was that @DrIsaPantami was a terrorist on the US Watchlist. When we rejected that, they started calling for him to be listed, by sharing some videos
which I have once mentioned in my article (oneheartnaija.com/2021/04/16/dr-…) on this entire drama as his opinion, cut from parts of lectures or talks he delivered some years ago.
All we have been saying, as you can see from the conclusion of the above article, is that "Dr. Isa Ali Ibrahim Pantami is not what these underlings and propaganda dogs want the world to believe. He is human, and he makes mistakes. But linking him to any form of Terrorism or ties

When we hear bad rumours about a Northerner, we don't ask or seek for authentic details of the unconfirmed story we heard or read, instead, we go ahead to believe it, tweet it, blog it and tag the UN,US, the ICC

But we go mute and cease to exist, when such happens in the South.
Taking the Extra-judicial killings that happened in Anambra for instance; everybody are back to their Businesses and work places, no one is asking about the development on the trial of the Officer involved in that sacrilegious act BECAUSE IT WAS AN OWN GOAL.
Since we decided to play politics mixed with tribalism and Prejudice, let's play!

What would have happened if Officer Nwafor was from the North? Would we have been as silent as we are now?

AND WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE AGAIN?

A drowning man will clutch at a Straw, says a Chinese Proverb, and that is what this entire laughable attacks on @DrIsaPantami looks like right now. If the purveyors of mischief & hate won't surrender, how can we surrender?

At first, the allegations were cooked lies about his enlistment with a certain US Watch List. That turns out to be untrue, & even calls to the US Department denied that. Then, the fears that some of them have attracted legal battle to themselves threw them into looking for soft
landings. Then, they begin to dig into his past political positions & lectures or presentations that run into thousands, only to pick places that can please their huge but empty followership. When they saw different responses from True & concerned Nigerians against that,

The attacks of @DrIsaPantami are entirely as a result of HATRED FOR ISLAM & MUSLIMS, no more no less. It is simply Islamophobia at play. Many of them have stated it clearly that a conservative Muslim (in another word, someone who practice Islam very well) should never hold any
place in our government. This is simply the idea. But then, they all agree that a high ranking Christian like Pastor @ProfOsinbajo can be a Vice President in the same "secular" Nigeria, attend Churches where the Podiums he use there are even if the office of the VP, and it is OK.

Believe me, the moment we allow these cheap blackmails & attacks on Islãm continues, a day will come where a Muslim cannot even be allowed to live in Nigeria. We can't be bullied in this country because of our religion & how we practice it.
