This week our rehab team experienced two very disturbing incidents of cruelty towards star tortoises.
An alert citizen spotted an injured star tortoise near the dustbin of a temple in Goregaon.

एक आॅक्टोबर 2016 ला तत्कालीन राज्य सरकारच्या मंजुरीने पनवेल महानगरपालिका अस्तित्वात आली. मे 2017 ची महानगपालिकेची निवडणूक भाजप जिंकलं. माजी मुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्र फडणवीस यांची पनवेल महनगरपालिकेच्या निवडणूक प्रचारातली आश्वासनं त्यांच्याच सोशल मिडियावर उपलब्ध आहेत.
त्यानंतर महाविकास आघाडीचं नवं सरकार आलं.
आजपर्यंत पनवेल महानगरपालिकेचं स्वत:चं एकही हाॅस्पिटल नाही. एमजीएम- कामोठे, डीवाय पाटील -नेरूळ आणि रायगड जि.प.चं उपकेंद्र इथे पनवेल महानगरपालिकेने बेड्स घेतले आहेत. त्यांच्याकडे स्वत:चा आरोग्यअधिकारी नाही.
