Yesterday marked the 6th drop of @POTUS’ monthly #ChildTaxCredit. This much-needed credit has improved the lives of families across the country, and has undoubtedly impacted women and women of color for the better. Here are two stories, from mothers in #Florida and #Indiana:

OK, I have been watching Twitter & FB all day. It seems a majority of Canadians on social media want everyone in Parliament to #PassTheDamnBill . When you get right down to it, it's OUR money. And if we don't give a f*ck about hand-wringing over debt, then neither should you. 1/4
This is life and death for some people. It's having a roof and food and stress reduction for many more. You, MPs, are all there to do what's good for Canadians. Not industries. Not corporations. For people, regardless of colour, creed, orientation or income. 2/4
We live in a SOCIETY. Not an economy. What will get the economy bouncing back once #COVID19 has receded, is people still having financial security. Having the ability to buy what they need. Austerity in several provinces has many people living on the edge... 3/4
