2) A Church in the world in at least two meanings: 1) the Church is *in the world*, not an entity magically safe from evil; 2) the crisis is a *global* crisis for the Catholic Church.
3) Francis rejects the ideological connection made often between modern/post-modern post-1960s decay of morality and the phenomenon of sexual abuse. Sexual abuse has a much longer history.

For a mother there are no first or second-class children; there are stronger children and more vulnerable ones. Nor are there first and second-class children for the Church.
