1/ Aktuell folgt eine Krise der nächsten. Klima, Corona, Krieg. Ich fühle mich ehrlich gesagt ohnmächtig und beobachte diese Schockstarre auch bei anderen. Ich frage mich: Welcher Krise schenke ich meine Aufmerksamkeit? Wo fange ich an?
2/ Alle diese Krisen sind ein Resultat von kurzfristiger Politik. Wir fahren auf Sicht, anstatt systemische Probleme nachhaltig anzugehen: Der Krieg in der Ukraine wurde 8 Jahre lang ausgeblendet. Die Corona-Politik hat kaum Stringenz. Klimaschutz ist oft nur ein Schlagwort.
3/ Ohnmacht ist daher eine natürliche Reaktion. Ohnmacht kann aber auch zu Resignation führen - das gilt es zu vermeiden. Gar nicht mehr Nachrichten zu lesen, ist sicherlich im ersten Moment erleichternd, aber auch nicht nachhaltig.
Als Corona ausbrach, dachten wir, jetzt sei der Zeitpunkt, um den Wiederaufbau grün zu gestalten, arme Menschen zu entlasten, die Pflege fair zu entlohnen. Stattdessen wurden fossile Konzerne bedingungslos gerettet, Milliarden Euro in Klimazerstörung gesteckt, 1/x
Menschen in Not vergessen und Pfleger*innen beklatscht.
Jetzt herrscht Krieg, mit unseren Öl- und Gasimporten finanzieren wir jeden Tag den Angriff auf die Ukraine.

Es wäre der Zeitpunkt für einen radikalen Ausstieg aus den fossilen Energien und eine beschleunigte Energie- und Wärmewende. Es wäre der Zeitpunkt für echte soziale Entlastungen für Menschen, die gerade in finanzielle Not geraten.

... the govt & the opposition should be doing as long as we don't make it 'too political'. But it's not OK to point out that we wouldn't have needed such actions if the establishment had not decided to demean & abuse the man who if PM now would not allow children to go... 3/7
