On this year's edition of #WorldProductDay, I want to share my #ProductStory of how I took a 40% pay cut in order to learn more & grow my impact in the product management space. 
Some years ago, I took a job as a Lead Product Manager about 3 years into my product management career.
The pay was good.
The people were nice.
The office has a good culture.
But I left after just 3 months.

My idea of product management was not in alignment with theirs.
They wanted to grow their software business but wasn't ready to do "really" do it...
It's like wanting to move on but still holding on to your ex.

True, but there is a fine line between friendly advice and #Information #Warfare. My friends advise me privately and politely, not criticise me on social media, or give me advice on TV interviews! Those who did the latter are no longer my friends 🤡.

Sometimes I now have tonic seizures or short clonic seizures instead of tonic-clonic and partial seizures though I do still have some tonic clonic and partial seizures. I also have problems using my right arm following a suspected stroke when I was a baby.
All of this impacts my life a lot - it affects my memory and I struggle with basic things such as cutting up bits of food. I know some of this is linked to my stroke but know my epilepsy is also a factor. When I have a seizure it's my right arm which shakes the most and thumps

The class was birthed by the pandemic. Luckily, I work at a school that encourages teachers to design their own electives based on their passions. And in the midst of concurrent teaching, I knew that we needed something fresh and new to engage kids while they were at home.
At the time, I had just watched @HorrorNoirefilm for the 100th time, ordered the book, and my partner and I were working on a concept for a Black Horror museum and haunted house. I'm all about fusing my passions. And thus, I submitted a syllabus to the English dept for the class.

On #WorldMentalHealthDay I would like to say something about a person I advocate for, about #PIP & @DWP & how, over a period of 18 months, this person's mental health was pushed to crisis point again and again by a system designed not to support mental health but to punish it.
