I was off twitter for most of yesterday so missed the real-time twists and turns of the Real Housewives of Bahria. The interest in this lurid story is understandable, the outrage against the media less so. I’ll explain why. #UzmaKhan 1/7
Tabloid fodder:
An extra-marital affair, leaked videos, an outraged wife w guards, breaking & entering, assault, threats of rape, a model/actor, a well-connected property tycoon and his incestuous family, elite privilege, a missing husband, celebrity lawyers, a delayed FIR. 2/7

THREAD: After looking at data & photos I have come to a conclusion that the #PK8303 crash has a lot do with its landing gear & pilot.
Did the pilot touch down on 1st attempt?
To get the answer we need to look at this data of flight altitude which has some clues.
In the above chart we can see the plane going to the bottom & then going up & then going down later.
The plane in my view landed on the runway but without landing gears. And then went up & the evidence for this is on the engines bottoms. Both charred & have marks of runway.
In this photo you can see rough surface of engine's bottom due to limited contact with runway. Engines were damaged & instead of just killing the power & just belly land, pilot gave it more power.
This photo shows pilot also used fire retardant to put fire out in engines.

Hello I'm awake and here to look over the #PIACrash. So far I'm building an idea in my head as to what happened. I will be doing a thread here.

1. The engines

The engines look pretty black on the bottoms online. Diagrams of the CFM56 used by the A320 show that the accessory gearbox is mounted there. There may have been a failure there. See the photos below to see what's inside one.
As you can see there are many things inside. One small failure can lead to a big domino effect of them. So, many things could have led to the black we see on the photo.

But #PK8303 aborted its initial approach to the airport due to technical problems and performed a go around. A local spotter photographed the plane as it prepared for another landing. Undersides of both engines appear burnt and ram air turbine is deployed. Image
