@GameRant reports many streamers are getting hit with DMCA notices for copyright infringement when the hit song pops up in the game.

With a week of #PokemonScarlet #PokemonViolet and a solid almost 100 hours logged, my "final" verdict:
-Performance issues make the game difficult to swallow and inexcusably rough to look at. Game was NOT ready for release. For casual fans this is where the hate train started.

-It's glaringly obvious some areas got less time than others, The Asado Desert is even more barren than most Pokemon games' deserts and some locales obviously have low res jank textures.
-A memory leak is evident. Performance tends to differ over time and is fixed by a reset.-

-Despite all this, the game beneath the issues is fantastic. It is a properly open world that opens up after only an hour of gameplay and isn't a guided gated tour that opens as you progress.

A few days ago, I finished the regular story mode of #PokemonScarlet

A little background on my setup: I played around 35 hours on a legitimate cartridge running patch 1.01 on a first-generation Switch. I played almost entirely docked, and only clipped things that happened to me that I thought were funny or interesting. (2/X)
Before going any further, I will state that I believe some of the problems and performance issues I ran into were due to the fact I am playing with a cartridge on a Gen1 Switch. I will also try my best to not spoil anything in this review, and will flag spoilers accordingly (3/X)
