@emmadentcoad why is the postal vote turnout so low compared to elsewhere. did you get complaints of voters getting their postal vote to late to return in time? Also why such a high no of rejections
What is less clear is to whom the offence belongs.
Certainly, it is an offence to attend a postal vote opening session and communicate information.
Whether it is then an offence for a third party to report that information...?🤷♂️

The relevant legislation is below. Note how it appears to apply to "Every person attending the proceedings..." which would not therefore be a journalist. But I'm not a lawyer.
