I’m an accountant supporting small local businesses, Brexit will really harm, I’ve done a ton of research trying to understand Brexit. Along the way I’ve discovered some circles of self interest, I would like to share some of these with you. (thread)
1) Here are the Barclay brothers, they own the famously Pro Brexit Telegraph, the Spectator and the Ritz Hotel to name a few. They avoid paying tax, so much so that they moved to an island in the channel & are constantly trying to avoid tax. bbc.co.uk/news/uk-207294…

Interesting McDonnell says ‘it’s important we look at what’s been said and look ourselves at what’s been happening’ - he does also repeat lines about complaints to Panorama but does not make same accusations about the whistleblowers
McDonnell characterises it as a clash between former staff and current staff - what it is really is seven whistleblowers who used to work in the complaints department , and Corbyn’s inner circle -
And while there is certainly a lot of hostility btw Corbyn and Tom Watson was notable to hear the deputy leader talk on #radio4today about how he is no longer given info either about number of anti-semitism complaints or membership numbers
