Laldas was appointed by a court of law as the chief priest in Ramjanmabhoomi temple in 1983. He vehemently opposed VHP.& demanded advani stop the rath yatra. He insisted ‘Hindus&Muslims of Ayodhya &Faizabad can resolve the issue themselves,’
He was shot dead.
On March 1, 1992, he was removed from his position by the Kalyan Singh govt. On Dec 6, 1992, the Babri Masjid was destroyed. In these months, Laldas feared for his life & approached the local administration in Faizabad seeking protection, but his request went unheeded.
in an interview to #MadhuKishwar in 1992, he pointed out that 50-60 mahants had been murdered all over Ayodhya. “I wonder how a person like me is still alive”, he said in that conversation.…

@Cold_Peace_ Since u mentioned Hindu "awakening" lets put this in the right perspective & examine what put Hindus to sleep in the 1st place
1)500 yrs of hostile Mughal & British rule during which millions of Hindus were massacred enslaved & converted & their places of worship vandalised.....
@Cold_Peace_ 2)Despite this they could not completely make India an I$lamic or Xtian state as they did with other countries which they had invaded & forcibly occupied
3)This is because the Hindu never sleeps-the Sanatana Dharma which is the oldest in the world has unshakeable foundations.....
@Cold_Peace_ ...whose resilience will never be figured out by Abrahamic faiths because Hindus or Sanatanis worship Life Nature & Humanity each epitomised by the various Gods in our pantheon
4)However even after freedom this did not end...& an even more deadly toxic sedative was introduced....

@BBTheorist sir gives a sublime walk-through in #AyodhyaCase. Ayodhya, not #Panipat will decide our place in history.
@BBTheorist This is a #thread about #Ramjanmbhoomi, detailing what I gathered from this☝️lucid interview b/w @BBTheorist and @theLAWgend sirs.

A five Judge bench of the Hon'ble SC will be deciding on five issues which will define our future near and far, in coming weeks. I list them.
@BBTheorist @theLAWgend The five issues to be decided in the apex court are -
1. Was there a temple?
2. Are the beliefs involved in this case validly held?
3. If suits are time-barred by limitation?
4. Issues of adverse possession
5. Is 𝑅𝑎𝑚 𝐽𝑎𝑛𝑚𝑎𝑏ℎ𝑜𝑜𝑚𝑖 a juristic person or not?

Update #RamJanmabhoomi
CS Vaidyanathan continues to argue:
Janm Sthan is a Punya Sthaan - cannot be supplanted with any other piece of land.
Unlike other temples where the idol can be shifted, where the divinity is associated with the deity, #RamJanmabhoomi - the land is divine for that's where the deity is born.
Doctrine of adverse possession does not apply to #RamJanmabhoomi since Hindus never stopped worshiping the land.

The easy credence in the narrations of early European travellers and British administrators about the story of Rāma that describe a path trodden by countless pilgrims and the devotions undertaken by them at Ayōdhyā since times of yore +… unlike the way this longstanding belief of millions has been assailed by latter day academicians [and the courts] who have raised questions on the antiquity to which the tradition traces its origin and the historicity of its central character Rāma +…
..a millennia old conventional truth—and every single facet of it—weighed by present day evidential liability and documentary rigour incompatible with the dynamic character of Hinduism, in a way the beliefs of no other people are attacked.…

Ayodhya dispute is the harshest indictment of our Judiciary. It reflects poorly on the Judiciary of independent India that a dispute on such a critical matter has been languishing in courts since 1949 when civil suits were 1st filed for ownership of the plot.
in 1886 Mahant Raghubar Das moved Courts to seek permission to build a Ram Mandir outside Babri premises. We were not an independent country then but we are now and the righting of a historical wrong committed on its people is the duty and true test of sovereignty for any nation.
The dispute exposes the Marxist ecosystem which conspired to deny Hindus the right to worship Shri Rama at His birthplace. Dr K.K. Mohammed, former Regional Director (North) of ASI says in his autobiography that Leftist historians prevented an amicable settlement of the dispute.
