This country faces unprecedented economic challenges. We need a Prime Minister who fully grasps the multi-dimensional complexity of the issues and can fix them with intelligence, care, and clear resolve.
I very much hope that if Rishi Sunak is elected he will retain the services of Jeremy Hunt who in seven days has started calming markets and brought professionalism and stability to the Treasury.
