A kind follower asked what they can do to help, but I can't find his tweet again to thank him.

We're in the mountains, so we're more prepared as a rule than most.

I worry for those in the suburbs. In apartments. People who can't run generators or can't afford the gas.

Check on your neighbors. See if they are warm enough. If they have a way to keep their food from going bad.

It's cold at night now.

Just be kind to each other.

There are going to be some who are really scared. And many won't have phones. Remember, cordless phones won't work...
And many aren't going to be able to charge their cell phones.

Make sure they have flashlights and batteries.

Just check on each other, and be kind.

We're all gonna be on edge for the next few days...

This farce was supposed to only happen when temps are high along with high winds. Forecast for our area tomorrow is 71 degrees with winds 15-20 mph.
