We stepped outside today, in huge numbers.
1. In light of recent events, Pakistani people stand in support of the victim who has become the latest in a long list of victims seeking justice against sexual abuse in Pakistan. We demand justice for the past and current victims bcoz it is high time the govt wakes up.
2. Where is the PM who hoped to make Pakistan a riyasat-e-Madinah? Where is our Human Rights Minister? Where is our government who is in power so they can help the people? @ImranKhanPTI @ShireenMazari1 @PakPMO
3. People are saying "No one is safe in this country!" and we feel there is truth to this statement, because more and more victims are surfacing every which way, irrespective of gender, age, religion etc.
Just had a very sad conversation of the victims in Lahore rape incident. The story is heartbreaking and gives goosebumps. @ImranKhanPTI and @UsmanAKBuzdar must show zero tolerance in this case. The educated girl has travelled on this route frequently in the past. 1/6
The woman was at family friend's home.They advised her repeatesky not to go at that hour but she had travelled this route regularly, finding it safe. What came as a surprise was the finishing of petrol. She immediately called the motorway police emergency line when car stopped2/6
The police took her location. She was aware of her situation, so she locked her windows and doors. Two men (demons) appeared out of nowhere and started threatening her, they had long sticks and heavy stones, she screamed but could not move her car, they smashed the car windows3/6

میں نے انہیں کہا کہ میرا اقامہ بھی ایکسپائر ہے اور پولیس بھی آ رہی تو اب نیا پنگا بنے گا
چاچو کے الفاظ تھے کہ یہ پاکستان نہیں ہے
پولیس والا کوئی اور ایشو پہ کوئی بات نہیں کرے گا وہ آئے گا جو مسئلہ ہے اسی پہ بات کرے گا
اقامہ اگر وہ دیکھ بھی لے گا ایکسپائر ہے تو بھی نہیں بولے گا
چاچو کے الفاظ تھے کہ یہ پاکستان نہیں ہے

وہ جھگڑے کا فیصلہ کرنے آئے گا
اور وہی ہوا جب وہ آیا اقامہ چیک کیا تاریخ بھی دیکھی لیکن اس پہ کچھ نہیں بولا اور باقی جو کاروائی تھی ضروری وہ ہوئی
اور ایک طرف ہماری ریاست مدینہ کی پولیس جو ملزمان ڈھونڈنے کی بجائے متاثرہ عورت کو رات کو باہر
وہ جھگڑے کا فیصلہ کرنے آئے گا
اور وہی ہوا جب وہ آیا اقامہ چیک کیا تاریخ بھی دیکھی لیکن اس پہ کچھ نہیں بولا اور باقی جو کاروائی تھی ضروری وہ ہوئی
اور ایک طرف ہماری ریاست مدینہ کی پولیس جو ملزمان ڈھونڈنے کی بجائے متاثرہ عورت کو رات کو باہر
