I have an emergency that I would like my Twitter Family's #Help with.

I am worried about my friend Jenn and her co workers that run @HarvestHillsYYC.

They have run themselves ragged and need help.

There's a reason why Jenn and the team have not posted or shared a lot lately on their social media accounts.

She is probably going to kill me for doing this (RIP @Hell_Berta)......but I need to do something for them. I can't sit back and watch them burn themselves out.
As everyone knows, Jenn was in a car accident in Dec. and she was hurt pretty bad. I am talking grade 3 concussion bad and really really bad whiplash and other injuries.

She is at home recovering and her fellow board members and dedicated volunteers have picked up and helped.

Hi, @ICOnews! Your advice to pubs, etc. on #collecting customers' details is (at this point in time) incorrect, where it says they are "#required" 👇 ico.org.uk/global/data-pr…

Until the appropriate Minister issues #Regulations, e.g. under section 45C of #PHA1984, the Government... Image
...has "#required" nothing; it is simply making a #request.

In other words, #collecting such details is entirely #voluntary on the part of the pub/bar/whatever - and #providing their details is entirely voluntary on the part of the customer.

Later in your advice, you use...
...the phrase "#encouraged to collect", which is (until #Regulations are laid for each nation) more accurate.

However, in listing people's #DataProtection #Rights, you omit to mention the most relevant one, i.e. their #RightToObject to #processing!

That you suggest pubs, etc...

I started playing #guitar in college. Some of my friends back home played, so I thought I'd learn. It's been years since I kept up with it. With no job and an empty house, I had time. Plus, I could crank up my amp. Ava would have hated it. All the more reason to do it.
#vss365
Strumming a few chords or playing a riff through a loud amp usually makes me feel better. It's more of a distraction this time. My amp is a little old. Even a #ragpicker might pass on it. "If you're not going to play it, sell it," Ava nagged. Life always got in the way.

Or I got in the way. Not even ten years ago I kept getting sick all the time. Painful stomach cramps would radiate weakness throughout my body. I learned how to wash it away like healing #rainwater. That's when I really started to figure out who I was and what I could do.

This is outrageous ‼ The #UK is #blocking a Spanish Judge from getting testimony from #Assange - re: the US SPYING on him while at Embassy- to #protect the #US #extradition case from being #thrown out of Court

ILLEGAL
UNCONSCIONABLE
DISGRACEFUL @cpsuk

1/ "The British justice system is blocking a Spanish judge’s request to question Julian Assange in London as a witness in a case exploring allegations that the Spanish security firm Undercover Global S.L. spied on the WikiLeaks founder while he was living in d Ecuadorian embassy"
2/ "The British position, unprecedented in these types of requests for judicial collaboration, is being viewed by Spanish judicial bodies as a show of resistance against the consequences that the case could have on the process to extradite the Australian cyberactivist to the US."
