The Saxon state government is drawing the first conclusions from the "lateral thinking" demo in Leipzig that got out of hand. Meetings are to be limited to 1000 participants in the future.

On Wednesday, the cabinet agreed to allow up to 300 spectators to attend sporting and cultural activities indoors, and up to 400 outdoors. Organizers of events would have to make sure individuals wear facemasks and maintain a distance of two meters from each other.
